Published and Upcoming Short Fiction in 2016

Due to reasons mostly out of my control, I took a break from writing from late 2012 to early 2015 (and, wow, three years? Head, meet desk). 2015 wasn’t very forthcoming with acceptances, but 2016 goes somewhat better. (Okay, a LOT better). So, to recap the year so far, here’s a list of already published and forthcoming short stories in 2016. Hopefully, there will be more to follow.

“They Came Bearing Dangerous Gifts” in Space and Time Magazine, issue #125, out in March 2016.

“Madonna Mermaid” in the Fae Visions of the Mediterranean, from TFF.

Vengeance Sewn with Fey Cord” in the Future Fire.

“The Promise of Spring” in the Procyon Science Fiction Anthology from Tayen lane Publishing.

“Even Death” in Cast of Wonders (forthcoming).

Ghostly Serenades by the Nile,” in NewMyths.com. black

“Scars of a Certain Value” in a yet untitled Cthulhu anthology from Otter Libris. black

“The Last Dues Owed” to Cirsova Magazine for their Winter 2016 issue. black

“What Now, Callisthenes?” from Triangulation: Morning After to be reprinted in Digital Fantasy Fiction.

“Nosophoros” from Necrotic Tissue to be reprinted in the Killing it Softly anthology from Digital Fiction Publishing.

Hopefully, there will be more to follow. By the way, those with the cat icon* are stories that feature Nedjem, the ancient Egyptian rascal cat, and his High Priest. In case someone wants to follow his adventures. 😉
